Because of its location and robust infrastructure, The Triangle Region has the best prerequisites for being the natural centre of transport and logistics in Denmark. Therefore, a wide range of transport and logistics companies is located in The Triangle Region to be able to service all of Denmark from one location.

The Triangle Region is the traffic hub of Demark. This is where the east-west motorway axis E20 meets the vital north-south motorway E45 that connects Denmark to the rest of Europe. This combined with railway tracks, large business ports, the second largest airport in Denmark, and intermodal terminals, results in an undisputed position as the transport and logistics centre of Denmark.

14.000 transport and logistics jobs

The transport and logistics business is a significant strength in The Triangle Region. A wide range of transport and logistics companies is placed here – in close interaction with the large concentration of manufacturing industry companies and the resulting need for freight transport. In the Triangle Region, there are more than 14.000 jobs in the transport and logistics industry.

Securing infrastructure of the future

In The Triangle Region, we cooperate to strengthen traffic infrastructure to maintain and strengthen our position as the centre of transport and logistics in Denmark. We have a strong focus on public affairs and strive to secure the necessary governmental investments in the most important intersection of Denmark.

Because a flexible and well-functioning motorway network in The Triangle Region is essential for growth and cohesiveness in all of Denmark.

Not only do we collaborate on securing governmental investments – in 2021 we also focus on transport and logistics aiming towards stronger growth and business development. Through close dialogue with the companies in The Triangle Region, we focus on work labour, competencies, innovation power, and green transition.

One of the ambitions is that The Triangle Region will be a flagship in green transition and sustainable growth in energy and logistics in form of a hub for green fuels. The focal point is the establishment of Power-to-X facilities on an industrial scale. Power-to-X, so that green electricity on a large scale can be converted into hydrogen – and hereafter further processed into liquid green fuels.
